We are excited to announce that the Kenner NFL Flag League is back for the Fall 2020 Season. With registration opening today, July 23, 2020, be sure to read through this post thoroughly, as there have been some changes to our operations and venue location.

REGISTRATION DATES & PRICE PER PLAYER:

• July 23- August 2, 2020 - EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION

  • • Ages 4-14: $110 per player

    • Ages 15-17: $75 per player

• August 3 - August 16, 2020 - REGULAR REGISTRATION

  • • Ages 4-14: $125 per player

    • Ages 15-17: $75 per player

• Branded, matching shorts

• Supplemental insurance

• Pre-Season tournament

• 7-9 regular season games

NEW GOVERNING BODY

Beginning with the 2020 Season, the governing body of all NFL Flag Leagues is no longer operating under USA Football. Instead, the NFL and Reigning Champs Sports are governing all NFL Flag Leagues. Feel free to view their website for updates to the league, as a whole.

Due to this change in organization infrastructure, there are various new and exciting updates:

AGE CUT OFF & DIVISIONS

• Playing age is dictated by the player's age as of January 1, 2020 (previously as of August 1)

• Age Divisions will continue to be:

  • 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U

  • 15-17 year old league

    • Players will be allowed to play up, but no players will be allowed to play down unless there are extenuating circumstances (for our league only)

NEW JERSEY STYLE + SHORTS

• A brand new look and style to the jerseys is an exciting update

• Matching shorts will also be included with your registration

RULE UPDATES

• There are many rule changes that will be covered with the coaches prior to the start of the season that will make the game more exciting and make every minute impactful

• Feel free to read the Regular Season Rule Book and the Regional Tournament Rule Book.

VENUE CHANGE

We have had a wonderful 10 years facilitating our league at Ecole Classique. The staff has been gracious and has welcomed our players and fans with relentless efforts to make us all feel at home. Unfortunately, Ecole is still waiting on clarity of playing restrictions due to COVID-19 so we had to seek an alternate venue for the league going forward. For this reason only, we were forced to seek a new location.

REGISTRATION & TEAM INFORMATION

Our league is driven by pre-organized teams comprising of boys and girls in the area. If you have a group of players and a designated coach, we encourage you to register as a team, notating this designation in the "Special Requests" section. If you do not have a team, we can place your player on a team, matching the criteria entered on the registration form, to a team with similar criteria. This process operates on a case-by-case basis. We are always looking for parents or friends of the league to volunteer their time to coach these young men and women in the game of flag football.
